Psalm 27:6
And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

Mission Statement

Youth and Young Adult Choir

This ministry shall consist of those, both male and female, up to the age of twenty five, to participate in music worship.

Psalm 68:24-25 “They have seen Your procession O’ God, The procession of my God, my King into the sanctuary.” “The singers went before, the players on the instruments followed after; Among them were the maidens Playing timbrels.

We resolve that as members of the choir, we will lend our voices to the edification of the church body through song.

We resolve that we will give our best effort to be present at all rehearsals, choir functions, as well as Sunday worship services. We recognize the importance of learning song lyrics as well as the parts assigned to our vocal range. We also understand that we must practice our songs at home, especially those who have lead parts.

We resolve that singing in God’s choir is both a privilege and a blessing not to be taken lightly. Therefore we will sing with joy and exuberance. We realize that the music ministry is an important tool in preparing the congregation for the preached word. Properly selected and properly presented songs have a great impact on the total worship experience.
