Mission Statement
Shepherd’s Corner
Jeremiah 3:15 says, “And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.”
The shepherd is charged by God to pass on His vision to the people, that they may follow Him.
Habakkuk 2:2 “Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.”
We resolve that it is our purpose to assist our shepherd in carrying out the vision that God has given him for His people. We will do all within our power to make it become a reality.
We also resolve that we will support our shepherd through prayer, with the use of our gifts, through exhortation and also financial support.
We will do all that we can to make him comfortable and to supply the things he needs, that he can focus on preaching, teaching and hearing from God.
We resolve that it is our purpose to be a blessing to our shepherd and his family, because we recognize that they are truly a blessing to our church, this community and the body of Christ.
